The JGAA will select a boy and a girl from each age group as Players of the Year for 2007. The selection will be based on JGAA tournaments held during the summer, as listed below. Two other important factors that will be considered are attitude and sportsmanship. To be considered for Player of the Year, you must be an active member of the JGAA. If a player moves up to an older age division, they will only be eligible for Player of the Year points in that division.

Points will be awarded in the following way: Ties for awarding points will be broken in the same way as state team competition for places 1 through 10. All other places and ties will receive the same number of points as outlined below. For example, if there is a three way tie for 20th, each player will receive 3 points.

The Player of the Year in each age division will be decided by the total accumulation of points from the tournaments listed below. Points for the PING Arizona Jr. March Play will be awarded to the Champion, runner-up, 3rd and 4th place finishers only. Third and Fourth place finishers, which will be the players eliminated in the semi-finals, will split third and fourth place points.
