 In Memory of Jason Jensen
(August 2006)
Jason Jensen, a friend and valued member of the Junior Golf Association of Arizona, passed away on Wednesday evening the 16th of August.
16 year old, Jason was entering his junior year at Red Mountain High School were he was a respected member of the boy’s golf team. Jason is survived by his father Pat, mother Linda, brother Tyson, family and friends.
This is a time to remember Jason and honor his life’s journey...
2006 Junior Golf Highlights:
2nd Place:
Westfield PGA Jr. Champ. Qualifier
Top 10:
Willie Low Invitational, US Junior Amateur Qualifying, Junior Boys State Championship & SWSPGA State Championship.
Top 15:
Thunderbird Invitational, Phoenix City Junior Championship & PING Arizona Junior Masters.
Jason is currently ranked 22 in our championship division for player of the year.
Low round for 2006: Antelope Hills, Prescott – Junior Boys State Championship. Jason shot a 67 on the second day of the event.
2001-2005 Junior Golf Highlights:
Jason has been a member of the JGAA since 2001 and has placed top 5 in over a dozen of our events. Jason won the 2005 SWSPGA State Championship and 2004 Thunderbird Junior Classic adding to many of his past victories.
Jason you will be truly missed by the JGAA.
