Each year, the JGAA selects a boy and a girl from each age division as Players of the Year. The selection is based on each player's placing in selected JGAA tournaments. The first Players of the Year were Michael Jones and Keridwen Cornelius in 1992. Since then, other notable winners include Michael Thompson, Sara Brown, and Anthony Quezada, who has won JGAA Player of the Year 7 times. In 2011, The Gresco Family was gracious enough to donate the perpetual Player of the Year Trophy, pictured here, to our organization to recognize the JGAA's highest annual award for year-long play.
